Need an easy and fast appetizer? This is it! You could make this vegan by using vegan sour cream and pesto. This was good! This will be my go-to appetizer if I need something in a flash!
Cream Cheese Pesto Dip
8 oz. block of reduced fat cream cheese
minced fresh garlic (I used 1 clove and spread it onto the top of the cream cheese block)
pesto (make sure it is a good brand and one you enjoy the flavors of)
jarred, roasted red pepper strips
chopped kalamata olives
In a shallow bowl or dish with sides, layer all ingredients, using as much as you like of the garlic, pesto, red peppers, and olives.
You can heat this up in the microwave for a few seconds to soften the cream cheese, serve it at room temperature, or serve it cold with your favorite crackers.
